Johnny Gargano Brags About Keeping His Word Following #DIY’s WWE Tag Team Title Win

Johnny Gargano is a man of his word.

#DIY’s Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa defeated Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin of the Motor City Machine Guns to capture the WWE Tag Team Titles for a second time on the December 6 episode of WWE SmackDown. #DIY wasn’t supposed to get the match against the Motor City Machine Guns. Originally, the opportunity was supposed to go to Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins of the Street Profits. However, mystery assailant(s) attacked them, and Alex offered the match to #DIY.

Johnny Gargano promised that Nick Aldis wouldn’t have to worry about Tommaso Ciampa’s actions, who had been behaving erratically in recent weeks. This proved to be true, as it was a low blow by Johnny Gargano that led to #DIY handing Motor City Machine Guns their first loss in WWE and taking the WWE Tag Team Championship belts.

On X, Johnny Gargano bragged about keeping his word, no matter how hidden his true intentions were.

You can say a lot of things about me but a liar I am not..
