Dana White On Brock Lesnar’s Possible Return To The Octagon: “I Wouldn’t Be Shocked If He Gave It One More Shot”

Dana White briefly comments on a possible return for Brock Lesnar to the UFC.

UFC President Dana White, recently appeared on FOX Sports': 'UFC Tonight'. During the interview, White discussed a number of topics ranging from the current situation regarding referee Mario Yamasaki, to even getting around to discussing the current WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar. As you all are aware, Lesnar made his UFC debut in 2008 at UFC 81: 'Breaking Point', where he stepped into the octagon with former UFC Heavyweight Champion, Frank Mir.

Fast forward to 2016; following Lesnar's bout with Mark Hunt, Lesnar had been notified that he'd violated the company's anti-doping policy. Lesnar was currently contracted to the WWE at the time and the company allowed Lesnar to have a one-off in UFC. Since then, Lesnar had been fined $250,000 in December of 2016 and his eligibility to fight in the octagon had been suspended for one year by the NSAC.

Dana White stated that "anything is possible" when it comes to a Brock Lesnar return, as mentioned above, while he was speaking with FOX Sports.

"Anything is possible, yeah anything is possible. Brock has always shown interest in coming over and fighting here in the UFC. I wouldn’t be shocked if he gave it one more shot.”

The current WWE Universal Champion's contract is said to be coming to an end after WrestleMania 34 on April 8th and there is no final word on if Lesnar will be resigning with the WWE or not.
