Co-Main Event, Rest Of Card Set For Invicta FC 28
The co-main event has been announced for next months Invicta Fighting Championships 28 event and it is a strawweight division encounter as Mizuki Inoue faces UFC veteran Milana Dudieva.
Inoue (12-4-0) enters the contest on a four fight winning streak, last defeating Lynn Alvarez by second round submission at Invicta FC 18. Inoue hasn’t competed in almost two years because her bout at Invicta FC 18 took place in July of 2016. Inoue has suffered a total of four defeats as a professional MMA fighter, with two of them coming to a pair of UFC veterans in Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Alexa Grasso.
Dudieva (11-7-0) enters the bout on a four fight losing streak and the fighter hasn’t earned a win in three-plus years. Dudieva won just one of three fights during her UFC tenure, with that lone win coming over Elizabeth Phillips at UFC Fight Night 48. Dudieva has suffered three of the four losses on the losing streak by way of KO/TKO, while the other loss came by way of decision.
Other fights on the Invicta FC 28 card see UFC veteran DeAnna Bennett face Karina Rodriguez, Kali Robbins facing UFC veteran Pearl Gonzalez, Minna Grusander takes on Fernanda Priscila, Kerru Kenneson battle Chelsea Chandler and Jillian DeCoursey fights Rebekah Levine.
Invicta FC 28 takes place on Saturday, March 24 from the Union Events Center in Salt Lake City, Utah with Janaisa Morandin and Virna Jandiroba headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass.
