Nic Nemeth Retains TNA World Title Against Joe Hendry, JBL Interferes At TNA Bound For Glory
Nic Nemeth retained the TNA World Title at TNA Bound For Glory, defeating Joe Hendry in the co-main event.
The finish saw Nemeth escape the Standing Ovation and then hit a superkick followed by the Danger Zone for the win.
Frankie Kazarian was the special guest referee in the match, but was he was taken out prior to the finish.
As Kazarian attempted to cash in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy, John Bradshaw Layfield (JBL) emerged and delivered a clothesline from hell to take him out.
On the outside, JBL said something to Hendry and as Hendry grabbed his arm, JBL delivered a clothesline from hell to him. Ryan Nemeth confronted JBL, and he was laid out for his troubles.
