Tyson Kidd Holds No Animosity Towards Samoa Joe Over His Career Ending Injury
Tyson Kidd holds no ill will towards Samoa Joe.
Replying to a statement on Twitter about Samoa Joe and how a botched move ended his career, Kidd says that he has zero animosity towards Joe:
The injury took place on June 1, 2015 in a dark match before Raw was to begin. Joe went to finish the match with the muscle buster, but something wrong went down during the impact on his neck and as a result had to get major surgery, inserting a rod into his neck. The injury was comparable to that of Christopher Reeves, who became a quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse. Kidd has retired as a result of the injury.
Last year, Kidd started work as a producer for WWE, and has remained in that role since.
