Jey Uso Arrested For DWI, WWE Issues Statement

Jey Uso was arrested over the weekend on a DUI charge.

According to the Hidalgo County Records website, Jey Uso (real name Joshua Fatu) was arrested on January 14 for driving while intoxicated. He was in the area that day as part of a Smackdown Live event, competing against The Bludgeon Brothers and the team of Aiden English and Rusev in a triple threat tag team match, which they won.

It isn't known if he was arrested before or after the show. He posted a 500 dollar bond and was released the same day, regardless. No further information is known.

WWE released the following statement to Wrestling Observer regarding the incident: "Joshua Fatu is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials."

No word if he is scheduled to be on Smackdown tonight. He and his brother Jimmy are scheduled to defend the Smackdown tag team titles against Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable at the Royal Rumble in a 2 out of 3 falls match on January 28.
