United States Title Finals Off WWE Royal Rumble, Moved To January 23 Smackdown

We’ll be getting a new United States champion sooner than you’d think.

WWE.com mentioned during their preview for tomorrow’s show that the finals have been moved to the following week’s episode of Smackdown on January 23. It was originally set for the Royal Rumble on January 28, but obviously things have changed, most likely due to time constraints with the other matches on the show, including two Royal Rumble matches.

Both semifinal matches will take place on Smackdown tomorrow. Bobby Roode will battle Mojo Rawley in one, while Xavier Woods will battle Jinder Mahal in the other.

Smackdown tomorrow will also have Charlotte Flair, Naomi and Becky Lynch face off against Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan, The Riott Squad. This will be the first time Becky Lynch has competed on television since her return last week.

Be sure to tune into our Smackdown coverage as we’ll have full results and a post show podcast following the event.
