#1 Michael Chandler vs. #8 Goiti Yamauchi
Round One: The two fighters test each other for the first minute. Chandler lands one body kick. They tie up and Yamauchi tries to pull guard. Chandler takes the opportunity to get on top. Yamauchi closes his guard but Chandler is able to land short punches and elbows. Chandler postures and lands harder punches.

Round Two: Yamauchi lands some head kicks and a strong left hand in the early part of the round. Chandler recovers and lands a takedown. Short elbows land for Chandler but he stays in Yamauchi's guard. Against the cage, Chandler advances to side control momentarily but Yamauchi regains his guard. A few times Yamauchi tries to elevate Chandler's hips but Chandler remained on top. The round ends with Chandler throwing big punches to the grounded Yamauchi.

Round Three: Chandler accidentally pokes Yamauchi's eye and the round is stopped for a minute. The two exchange more strikes before Chandler scores another takedown. Yamauchi tries to create space as he did in the first two rounds. Chandler starts landing powerful elbows and then punches. The referee checks on Yamauchi a few times. The round ends without a stoppage despite Chandler continuing to land.

Bellator MMA Welterweight Title Fight
Douglas Lima (Champion) vs. #2 Rory MacDonald
Round One: Neither fighter gets started on the feet before MacDonald presses Lima's back against the cage. Eventually, MacDonald is able to throw Lima off balance and land a takedown. MacDonald spends a large portion of the round in Lima's guard as he lands some punches. The referee stands the fighters with thirteen seconds left in the round.

Round Two: At one point, MacDonald catches Lima's leg, holds it, and punches him. Lima turns the situation around and puts MacDonald against the fence. The two fighters switch positions on the cage but they break their clinch. MacDonald lands a groin kick which is declared unintentionally. After the break, MacDonald presses Lima against the cage again. The two fighters struggle but MacDonald maintains control.

Round Three: Lima is able to land low kicks as he did in other rounds but MacDonald closes the distance and they clinch against the cage again. They separate but MacDonald quickly lands a takedown in the middle of the cage. Without any advancing, the referee stands the fighters. Lima lands two more low kicks and the second knocks MacDonald down. Lima ends the round in Macdonald's guard.

Round Four: MacDonald goes for a takedown, however, Lima lands in full mount while landing some punches. MacDonald works his way back to half-guard and full guard. The fighters are stood up by the referee. MacDonald's shin is extremely swollen. Lima goes for a low kick but MacDonald times takedown.

Round Five: MacDonald takes Lima down and starts working on passing his guard. MacDonald settles for staying in guard and landing wide punches on Lima. Lima is unable to defend much of MacDonald's assault but keeps his guard closed. Lima even locks a body triangle on MacDonald in guard.

#6 (LHW) Chael Sonnen vs. Quinton Jackson
Round One: Sonnen throws a variety of strikes and finds success with his jab and overhand left. Jackson lands a couple punches. They clinch, Jackson catches a kick, and he throws Sonnen to the ground. He motions for Sonnen to stand. Sonnen tries a flying knee. The two fighters exchange strikes then Sonnen is able to take Jackson's back in a scramble.

Round Two: Sonnen presses Jackson against the cage. They exchange knees to the body against the cage. Sonnen trips Jackson and lands in his guard. Sonnen is able to land body shots, posture, and move to half guard. Sonnen attempts a Kimura from half guard. The round ends on the ground.

Round Three: The fighters clinch against the cage. Sonnen spends most the time with his back to the cage. The referee resets the fighters. Jackson starts throwing big punches and taunts Sonnen. The fighters clinch in the middle of the cage and Sonnen lands a takedown.
