Zak Cummings Injured, Off UFC Fight Night St. Louis
With less that two days to go before UFC Fight Night St. Louis, an injury has forced a few changes to the card.
Zak Cummings suffered an injury after the fighter cracked his head against a handrail while moving from a tub while cutting weight, which has caused the cancellation of a bout against Thiago Alves.
Due to the face that there is less than two days before the event, UFC officials had no time to find a replacement opponent for Alves.
Cummings confirmed the injury himself when responding to an angry fan via Twitter:
I’m absolutely fucking devastated right now. This one of the best cuts I’ve ever had and slipped while moving from the tub to the ground and cracked my fucking skull on a handrail. I’ve missed most of my 3 months olds entire life! You disgust me
