Josh Emmett Is Waiting For Brian Ortega To Sign Bout Agreement
Josh Emmett pulled a huge upset when he got a one punch knockout victory over top five ranked Ricardo Lamas in the co-main event of UFC on Fox 26.
The featherweight star believes his next bout will come against top rankled Brian Ortega, but Ortega needs to sign the contract first.
Emmett took the Instagram to not only demand that Ortega sign the contract, but to claim that the featherweight is scared of him:
Ortega last competed in the main event of UFC Fight Night Fresno, where he submitted Cub Swanson in the second round. Ortega has yet to respond to the comments made by Emmett, but said after UFC Fight Night Fresno that he wanted the winner of the upcoming UFC Featherweight Title bout between champion Max Holloway and challenger Frankie Edgar.
While Emmett claims that he is waiting for Ortega to sign the contract, one thing the fighter didn’t reveal is just when the potential bout could happen.
