Smackdown Viewership For 1/9 Down From Last Week
Smackdown won the night on cable, but was down from last week.
The show scored 2,603,000 (0.76 18-49) viewers for the night, which is down from last week's 2,720,000 viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily. Regardless, it won the night on cable, beating usual competition like Curse of Oak Island on the History Channel.
In terms of YouTube viewership, the main event, which featured AJ Styles, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura facing off against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in a handicap match, scored 1.1 million views. AJ Styles reacting to the WWE title match for the Royal Rumble was a distant second with 672,000 views. Breezango getting the Ascension ready for the Bludgeon Brothers and Breezango vs. Aiden English and Rusev scored the least amount of viewers.
Jinder Mahal vs. Xavier Woods in a United States title tournament match is scheduled for next week's episode.
