John Kavanagh Takes Shot At Tony Ferguson, Ferguson Responds
UFC Interim Lightweight Champion Tony Ferguson won the gold when he defeated Kevin Lee by submission in the main event of UFC 216.
Ferguson is known for saying the phrase “defend or vacate” in reference to UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor, who hasn’t defended the title since winning it at UFC 205.
John Kavanagh is McGregor’s head coach and he took to Twitter to mock Ferguson:

This would lead to Ferguson responding via Twitter, taking shots at both Kavanagh and the UFC Lightweight Champion:

McGregor and Ferguson have taken many shots at each other in the past, but the two have yet to meet in the Octagon.
UFC President Dana White recently stated that Ferguson would be McGregor’s next opponnent, but declined to give a time frame as to when that bout would happen.
White also recently stated that Ferguson could be facing Khabib Nurmagomedov next and it could be for the undisputed UFC Lightweight Title if McGregor doesn’t return in due time.
