Smackdown Viewership Up From Last Week
If Raw goes up, Smackdown usually follows.
According to Showbuzz Daily, Smackdown scored 2,720,000 viewers, up from last week's 2,656,0000 viewers. This is within striking distance of Raw's number, 2,865,000 from last week.
It placed second for the night on cable. The only show that surpassed it was Curse of Oak Island on the History Channel. In terms of viewership, it was fifth for the night, behind Curse of Oak Island, Fixer Upper, Tucker Carlson and Hannity.
The big winner for the night for Smackdown YouTube numbers was the AJ Styles vs. Sami Zayn match, which scored one million viewers. Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan's promo to open the show followed up, barely doing half those numbers with 565,000 views. The losers for the night, second week in a row, was the angle between the Bludgeon Brothers, Ascension and Breezango.
Next week's show will have a continuation of the United States title tournament as Mojo Rawley takes on Zack Ryder. The Ascension will also get a crack at the Bludgeon Brothers.
