WWE Raw 1/1 Viewership Up From Last Week
Raw's numbers for New Year's Day were better than the ones from Christmas night.
The show averaged 2,865,000 viewers on Monday, up from Christmas night's 2,704,000 viewers according to Showbuzz Daily. The first and second hours were pretty close, with the third hour dropping by nearly 200,000 viewers:
Hour 1: 2,969,000 (1.02 18-49)
Hour 2: 2,912,000 (0.97)
Hour 3: 2,714,000 (0.92)
College football dominated the holiday, taking the first nine spots in terms of total viewership. Raw scored the 10th, 14th and 15th spots for the night.
In terms of YouTube viewership, Brock Lesnar's segment with Kane and Brock Lesnar scored 3.9 million views, easily becoming the most popular video from Raw. Samoa Joe vs. Roman Reigns for the Intercontinental title trailed with 1.5 million views, and Kurt Angle's opening promo revealing the women's Royal Rumble rules followed with 1 million viewers. Segments highlighting Absolution, Bayley and Sasha Banks entering the Royal Rumble was last with 194,000 views.
