Star Wars spoilers can earn you threats, blocks, hexes, voodoo — anything negative in life. #3 UFC Welterweight Colby Covington doesn't mind.
Fightful.com's James Lynch spoke to him about his decision to tweet Star Wars: The Last Jedi followed by "Saved you nerds 2h 33m of your virgin lives. You're welcome. Try something new, its ladies night. Go get laid."
"All my haters are nerds and virgins as it is, so I might as well make them cry for a night, or 20 years. Whatever they waited for it. If you were getting ready to watch Star Wars and you were on Twitter right before, that's your fault for being that dumb and immature and that much of a nerd. I got nothin' to say about those guys. They're a bunch of virgins," said Covington.
Not the only battle of Covington's weekend, he also went at it with UFC Chase Sherman, who had criticized ROH Wrestling in prior tweets. Along the way, Chase Sherman also took aim at Covington himself.
"I jumped in as a fan of pro wrestling, and I jumped in because he's been tweeting a little shit here and there about my name, because I'm the hottest name in the business. Everybody has an opinion on me. I had to point out facts and truth to that fuckin' idiot," said Covington.
Even though we've seen Covington appear on Impact Wrestling prior, as of now, he has no plans to return, saying "Nothing lined up. I'm focused on the world title right now."
In the full interview, Colby Covington (13-1) discusses his recent Twitter feuds and why he's only interested in fighting Tyron Woodley next. Colby also talks about potentially coaching The Ultimate Fighter, why Rafael Dos Anjos won't fight him and Star Wars spoilers.
