Report: Aaron Pico Battling Shane Kruchten At Bellator 192

A featherweight division attraction could be making its way to the Bellator 192 card as Aaron Pico faces Shane Kruchten.

It was Kruchten who announced the news via Twitter:

Pico (1-1-0) earned his first professional MMA win earlier this year at Bellator 183, knocking out Justin Linn in the opening round. Pico made his professional MMA debut at Bellator 180, but was submitted by Zach Freeman in the opening round of their encounter. Pico has never competed as an amateur MMA fighter, but has a plethora of amateur wrestling experience.

Kruchten (12-3-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and also returns to action for the first time in over a year. Kruchten has competed in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating Jeremy Mahon and suffering a defeat to Mike Corey. Kruchten is also a former Xplode Fight Series Featherweight Champion, defeating Jason Miknuk to win the gold in 2012.

Bellator 192 takes place on Saturday, January 20 from The Forum in Inglewood, California with Douglas Lima and Rory MacDonald headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.

Kruchten was profiled in Sean Ross Sapp's long-form series for Fightful, which you can check out at this link
