Bleacher Report ‘Taking A Step Back’ From Hosting AEW Pay-Per-Views
Bleacher Report is stepping away from hosting AEW pay-per-view events and replays.
Since the beginning of AEW, Bleacher Report has hosted all of the promotion’s major events for fans in the United States. On September 30, 2024, Bleacher Report emailed fans to say that they would be leaving the AEW pay-per-view business.
Additionally, they allow customers to transfer replays of events they purchased on Bleacher Report over to TrillerTV (formerly FITE).
From Bleacher Report:
Hello,
It’s been a high-flying time, but Bleacher Report is taking a step back from the AEW pay-per-view ring.
Don’t worry though, we’re not throwing in the towel on wrestling – you can continue to use the B/R app to keep up with your favorite moments and storylines.
Our records show that you have previously purchased 1 event(s). Any past event will be removed from your account in a few weeks.
You have the option to keep your replays of these events through TrillerTV, should you opt-in below within the next 14 days.
Thanks,
Bleacher Report
AEW is still in discussions with Warner Bros. Discovery regarding its media rights. Tony Khan said he would like some of his content streamed on MAX. Learn more here.
Fightful will report further updates on AEW media rights as more information is made available.
