UFC On Fox 26 & Bellator 191 Ratings Are In
This past weekend, MMA fans were treated to a pair of big events in the form of UFC On Fox 26 and Bellator 191.
Friday Night kicked off the festivities in the form of Bellator 191, which saw UFC veterans Michael McDonald, Valerie Letourneau and Philip De Fries make their promotional debuts.
The event, which aired via tape delay on Spike TV, drew a total of 511,000 viewers, making it the second highest rated Bellator MMA event in the last few months.
UFC On Fox 26 was the biggest event of the event, with former UFC Lightweight Champion defeating former UFC Welterweight Champion Robbie Lawler by decision in the main event. The show drew a total of 2,107,000 viewers, with the main event fight drawing the most viewers as 3,071,000 people checked out the bout.
Besides the live broadcast on Fox, all the fights besides the UFC Fight Pass portion of the preliminary card were streamed on Fox Sports Go and Fox Now, with 15,521 viewers watching the event from the streaming services.
A six fight preliminary card headlined by Jan Blachowicz and Jared Cannonier aired on Fox Sports 1, drawing 4567,000 viewers on the channel and 5,658 on streaming services. There was also a pre-fight show that aired on FS1 that drew 121,000 viewers and a post-fight show on FS1 that drew 115,000 viewers.
While Bellator MMA is done for the year, MMA fans still have one more UFC event in 2017 because the promotion presents UFC 219 on Saturday, December 30. There is going to be a four fight preliminary card airing live on Fox Sports 1, with Khalil Rountree and Michal Oleksiejczuk in the featured spot.
