Giulia made her debut at NXT No Mercy and confronted NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez to face her. Perez will put the title on the line against Giulia on the October 1st episode of NXT. Giulia and Perez went back and forth at a press conference on the September 24th episode of NXT. Giulia said that it was time for Perez to pass the torch to her, while Perez said that she deserved to lead NXT into the new era.
In a post on Twitter/X, NXT shared a brief message from Giulia. She told Pere to hold the title close, as her time was almost up.
“Hold that title close, Roxanne. You only have a few more days with it,” Giulia said.

Perez and Giulia don’t just have to worry about each other. During their press conference, Stephanie Vaquer appeared on the video screen and made it clear that she was coming for the winner.
