Muhammad Hassan was a controversial, short-lived character in WWE. Debuting at the end of 2004 and being written off by the 2005 WWE Great American Bash, Hassan made an impact due to his controversial nature and the high-profile opponents he faced.

One thing about working with top stars in WWE’s Ruthless Aggression Era is that promos were never heavily scripted. In a video on Maven’s YouTube channel, Hassan revealed that his promos were never scripted.

“Our promos, they were never scripted. They would tell me something I need to hit and I’d go out there and hit it. They were so easy because if I ever got lost for a second, I just had to stop. The crowd was so hot the whole time, they would be chanting ‘USA,’ and I could gather my thoughts, and then I could go again.”
