Paige Reacts To Emma Being Released By WWE
Paige was sad when Emma was released but calls her an inspiration.
In October, Emma was released from WWE along with other wrestlers. She had recently appeared on Raw in a couple matches against Asuka. On Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, Paige discussed how disappointed she was to see Emma leave WWE. Paige would return to WWE only weeks after Emma left.
"I was so sad for her because I know how much her life revolves around WWE," said Paige. "She's fine. she's good. She's like 'I get it…I wish I could be there.' She's traveling the world, experiencing life. She's inspirational," she continued.
Paige returned to WWE on Raw with two other wrestlers as part of her group Absolution. She told Garcia even though she is confused by Emma's release, she does not want to ruffle any feathers by asking questions.
"I still don't know. I still don't get it. A lot of people don't understand" said Paige. "You know what, I'm not even going to pry when it comes to it," she added.
Paige said she expects Emma to make a big name for herself in independent wrestling promotions. Paige also claimed Emma left on good terms with WWE. In the rest of the interview, Paige covered all the of the events she has gone through over the last year including being hacked, her relationship with Alberto Del Rio, and her struggle with narcotics.
Emma (real name Tenille Dashwood) has not wrestled since leaving WWE. But, she has been posting pictures of her traveling the world as Paige said. Fightful Wrestling will provide any future updates on Emma's wrestling career.
