On the September 20th episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE played footage of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns meeting at Georgia Tech. Reigns gave Rhodes his word that he would have his back at WWE Bad Blood, where they will face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline. Reigns also said that he would be coming to take back what was his.
Rhodes then took to Twitter/X and shared pictures from the meeting. He commented on the conversation by saying they’d see whether Reigns was a man of his word.
