Michael Bisping Ordered To Pay Former Manager, Alleged Scuffle Ensues During Trial

Former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping is in the midst of the two bout losing streak, but now the fighter has gotten another loss and this one comes from the court of law.

Last May, former coach and manager Anthony McGann had filed a suit against Bisping stating that the fighter had owed him $349,000 for what remains on a contract that the former champion signed in 2005.

After an 11 day trial in Manchester, UK, a judge has sided with McGann and has ordered the fighter to pay him £320,000 ($426,313 in US currency).

This is all according to a report by the Manchester Evening News.

Judge Richard Salter wasn’t too pleased with either Bisping or McGann for their behavior during the eleven day trial and let them know it as the proceedings went on.

One thing that may not have made Judge Salter very happy was that the former UFC Middleweight Champion allegedly got into a scuffle with the former coach/manager outside of the courtroom. Bisping’s current manager in Audie Attar wouldn’t comment on the situation himself, but says that Bisping will provide a statement on the whole matter in the future.

While the first part of the trial is now complete, both Bisping and McGann have to appear in court again to determine who will pay all the legal costs for the proceedings.

Bipsing is expected to retire this coming March at UFC Fight Night London, but nothing has been made official as of now.
