WWE Clash of Champions Results

WWE Clash of Champions Live Coverage tonight at 7 PM EST for the kick-off show and 8PM EST for the main one!

This is the Fightful.com live coverage for WWE Clash of Champions!

Tonight is the last pay-per-view of the year for WWE and they're looking to end the year on the Smackdown! Live brand on a high note as in our main event AJ Styles defends his WWE Championship against Jinder Mahal, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura take on Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn where if Kevin and Sami lose they'll have to leave WWE and to make the match even more special we have two special referees in the form of Smackdown! Live commissioner Shane McMahon and Smackdown! Live general manager Daniel Bryan. We also have The Usos defending their WWE Smackdown! Tag Team Championship in a fatal four way, Baron Corbin defends his WWE United States championship in a triple threat against Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode and much more so be sure to come back here at 7PM EST for the kick-off show where former best friends Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder square off before the main show gets started at 8 PM EST!

Kick-off Show

-We get an extended video package for the WWE Championship match between the champion AJ Styles and challenger Jinder Mahal. AJ is then interviewed where he says that the Singh brothers are terrible liars and that he'll be ready for anything including Great Khali and that he has to be phenomenal. We then get a video package for the triple threat match for the WWE United States championship where Baron Corbin defends against Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode. We get a sit down interview with New Day before their tag team title match tonight where they'll try to reclaim the WWE Smackdown! Live Tag Team Championships from The Usos. We then get a video package for Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder to set up their match on the kick-off show up next.

Mojo Rawley vs Zack Ryder

Zack goes right after Mojo to start the match, the two brawling at ringside until Zack puts Mojo back into the ring only to be hit with a spinebuster. Mojo hits a running splash in the corner for a quick two count before pushing Zack off of the top turnbuckle and to the floor. Mojo then gets out of the ring and hits a running shoulder block that sends Zack into the barricade as we go to commercial.

Mojo is in control as we come back from commercial until Zack fights out of a side headlock. Mojo drops Zack as soon as he breaks free before coming back with a series of strikes and two boots for a near fall. Mojo then chop blocks Zack before hitting a running forearm in the corner for the pin and the win.

Winner: Mojo Rawley via pinfall

Main Show

WWE United States Championship Match

Baron Corbin (c) vs Dolph Ziggler vs Bobby Roode

Bobby and Dolph double up on Corbin to start the match before Bobby clotheslines Corbin over the barricade. Dolph gets a quick two count before Roode hits a side Russian leg sweep, then Corbin clotheslines Bobby once he rolls out of the ring. Corbin rolls Roode back into the ring and clotheslines him before dropping him with a right hand. Corbin rolls out of the ring before sending Dolph into the barricade, then gets back in the ring and hits a side slam to Roode for a quick two count. Dolph gets back in the ring and Corbin drops him before Roode comes back with a series of clotheslines.

Dolph hits a famouser for a near fall before Corbin hits a series of running clotheslines in opposite corners. Corbin hits a Deep Six for a near fall before they hit a tower of doom, then Corbin pins Dolph for a near fall and Bobby for another one. Dolph sends Corbin into the ring post and out of the ring before Roode counters a superkick into a spinebuster. Dolph counters the Glorious DDT into a DDT of his own for a near fall before Roode hits the Glorious DDT for a near fall that Corbin breaks up by dragging Bobby out of the ring. Corbin then hits a backbreaker onto the floor before rolling him back into the ring and Dolph hits the Zig-Zag for the pin and the win.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler defeats Baron Corbin and Bobby Roode via pinfall to become the new WWE United States champion.

-Daniel and Shane talk backstage about their refereeing the match later tonight.

WWE Smackdown! Live Tag Team Championship Fatal Four Way Match

The Usos (c) vs New Day vs Rusev Day vs Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable

Everyone gets a series of quick two counts to start the match before everyone gets in the ring and brawls until Shelton hits an avalanche t-bone suplex for a quick two count. New Day start triple teaming everyone before Rusev gets a series of quick two counts. Rusev and Shelton beat on Jey and Kofi before they tag in their partners and Aiden gets a quick two count. Aiden hit a a suplex for a quick two count before Kofi comes back and tries to tag E in, but he's pulled off of the apron before he can be tagged in. Aiden clotheslines Jimmy before Jimmy and E double team Chad, then they hit a double splash for a double near fall.

Jimmy and E exchange strikes before hitting a series of double superkicks, then Chad locks in a Boston crab only for Aiden and Rusev to break it up for a near fall of their own. Rusev locks in the Accolade before E counters only for Rusev to drop him with a superkick for a near fall. Rusev locks the Accolade in again only for Chad to break it up and hit a series of German suplexes. The Usos then hit a superkick and a splash for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Usos defeat Chad Gable and Shelton Benjamin via pinfall to retain the WWE Smackdown! Live Tag Team championships.

WWE Smackdown! Live Women's Championship Lumberjack Match

Charlotte (c) vs Natalya

They lock up to start the match before exchanging standing switches and dropping each other until Charlotte sends Natalya out of the ring. Naomi stomps on Natalya before rolling her back into the ring only for Natalya to do the same to her on the other side. They get back in the ring and exchange chops before Charlotte hits a neckbreaker into a boot for a quick two count. Natalya sends Charlotte back out of the ring and everyone besides Naomi beats on her. They roll Charlotte back into the ring and they exchange strikes on their knees before Charlotte chops Natalya repeatedly and drops her.

Natalya yanks Charlotte off of the top before Charlotte drops her with a boot, then gets kicked out of the ring when she goes for the Figure Eight. Naomi hits a springboard cross body to the outside and takes everyone out at ringside before Charlotte gets back in the ring and Natalya locks in a sharpshooter. Charlotte gets to the bottom rope for the break before everyone starts brawling at ringside until it spills into one side and back out of the ring. Charlotte hits a moonsault off of the top and takes everyone out at ringside before Natalya sends her face first into the ring post. Natalya then rolls Charlotte back into the ring only for Charlotte to lock in the Figure Eight out of nowhere for the tap and the win.

Winner: Charlotte defeats Natalya via submission with the Figure Eight to retain the WWE Smackdown! Live Women's Championship.

Breezango vs the Bludgeon Brothers

Luke immediately drops Tyler with a right hand before they all go to the outside and Harper and Rowan clothesline both Fandango and Tyler. They roll Fandango back into the ring before hitting a double powerbomb and their finisher for the pin and the win.

Winner: The Bludgeon Brothers via pinfall

Special Guest Referees Tag Team Match

Shinsuke Nakamura & Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn with special guest referees Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan

Randy and Sami start the match off by locking up for a clean break before Randy hits Sami with a series of European uppercuts. Randy wrists the arm of Sami before tagging Shinsuke in, the two exchanging wrist locks until Sami gets to the ropes for a clean break. Kevin tags in and drops Shinsuke with a series of right hands in the corner before Shinsuke comes back with a series of forearms and a snapmare into a knee drop for a quick two count. Randy tags in and clotheslines Kevin for a quick two count before Kevin drops Randy with a superkick for a quick two count. Sami tags back in and chops Randy in the corner before Randy drops him with a European uppercut only for Kevin to come in and keep him away from Shinsuke.

Sami and Kevin start tagging in and out and keeping Randy isolated in their half of the ring until Kevin hits a senton for a quick two count. Sami tags in and chokes Randy in the ropes before Randy hits a belly to back suplex and finally tags Shinsuke in. Shinsuke dropkicks Kevin before hitting him with a series of kicks and knees. Shinsuke hits Good Vibrations and double knees for a quick two count. Shinsuke drops Kevin with a roundhouse kick for a near fall before locking in a flying triangle choke.

Shinsuke breaks the hold to avoid being pinned before Kevin superkicks him for a near fall, then Sami hits a blue thunder bomb for a near fall of his own. Sami and Kevin double team Shinsuke for a quick two count that Randy breaks up, then Shinsuke tags Randy back in just as Sami tags in. Randy hits a fall away slam before catching Sami on the top and hits a superplex before everyone gets out of the ring and brawls at ringside. They set Shinsuke on one of the announce tables before Kevin hits a running splash off of one and through the other announce table onto Shinsuke. Randy and Sami get back in the ring before Randy hits a draping DDT, then Randy hits an RKO for a near fall that Kevin breaks up by pushing Daniel into Shane.

Randy hits an RKO to Kevin before he and Sami exchange pin attempts before Daniel and Shane shove each other, then Sami rolls Randy up and Daniel does a fast count for the pin and the win.

Winner: Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn via pinfall

WWE Championship Match

AJ Styles (c) vs Jinder Mahal

Jinder man handles AJ to start the match before AJ starts focusing on the leg of Jinder. Jinder gets out of the ring to regroup before AJ goes after him and tosses him back into the ring before stomping on his leg and knee. Jinder kicks AJ away before chopping AJ in the throat and tosses him into the top rope and bounces him out of the ring and to the floor. AJ kicks Jinder's leg before Jinder sends him into the barricade and rolls him back into the ring. Jinder drags AJ back out of the ring before Jinder tosses him into the time keepers area and back into the ring.

Jinder starts focusing on the ribs of AJ before kneeing him back out of the ring. Jinder drops AJ onto the announce table before rolling him back into the ring and keeps the high flying AJ grounded. AJ comes back with a series of strikes only for Jinder to whip him across the ring and into the corner sternum first. AJ dropkicks Jinder in midair before Jinder rolls out of the ring, then they get back in the ring and Jinder hits a gutbuster for a near fall. They exchange strikes on the top before AJ hits an electric chair drop, then AJ hits a splash into the corner before following up with an ushigaroshi for a near fall.

AJ teases a Styles Clash that Jinder counters before Jinder tosses AJ across the ring for a near fall. Jinder counters a sliding forearm before AJ hits a Pele kick when Jinder goes for the Khallas. AJ hits a springboard 450 splash before taking out the Singh brothers at ringside, then Jinder hits the Khallas for a near fall. Jinder teases a Styles Clash that AJ counters into the Calf Killer and Jinder is forced to tap.

Winner: AJ Styles defeats Jinder Mahal via submission with the Calf Killer to retain the WWE Championship.
