Nigel McGuinness To Face Bryan Danielson At AEW Dynamite Grand Slam
Nigel McGuinness issued a challenge to Bryan Danielson for AEW Dynamite Grand Slam to face him for the AEW World Title.
McGuinness had a contract that gave him a title match, and it was up to Danielson to accept.
Danielson was originally scheduled to face Darby Allin, but Darby chose to put his title shot on the line in a match against Jon Moxley instead of facing Danielson.
AEW Dynamite Grand Slam takes place on September 25.

McGuinness has been taking shots at Danielson on commentary for years. The two had classic matches against each other during their time in ROH. They have not wrestled as competitors since 2009.
