At the NJPW Road to Destruction event on September 9, Zack Sabre Jr. and Kosei Fujita of TMDK defeated Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Katsuya Murashima.
In his post-match comments, Zack Sabre Jr. shared his thoughts following his win, and he announced that TMDK would be getting a new member.
“As much I have the most utmost, ridiculous respect for Tenzan, I’m the G1 winner. I’m challenging next for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. I’ve got a big announcement. When I said that Zack Sabre Jr. is reaching the top of New Japan, TMDK, it’s time that TMDK got a [new] member. We’re getting a new boy, and he’s a good boy,” Sabre Jr. said.
Sabre Jr. then stated that the new member would be joining the group at NJPW Destruction in Kobe on September 29th.
In addition to Sabre Jr. and Fujita, TMDK currently includes Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste, Bad Dude Tito, and Robbie Eagles.
