NXT Viewership Under One Million Viewers

NXT's venture onto cable television for one night did decent numbers for the night.

Showbuzz Daily reports that the first appearance of this incarnation of NXT on cable television scored 852,000 viewers for the night, ranking 22nd for the night. It also scored a 0.27 in the 18-49 demographic. Given the earlier time slot and short notice promotion, it's not bad at all. It was still the highest rated show of the night for the USA Network. NBA won the night on cable.

The show was a condensed version of this week's NXT, with the main event of Aleister Black facing Adam Cole. Black won the match, advancing to the fatal four way that will go down in a few weeks that will determine Andrade Cien Almas' next challenger for the NXT championship. Both Johnny Gargano and Killian Dain have already advanced.

The full version of the show, which can be seen on the WWE Network, also has a Peyton Royce vs. Ember Moon match. The show also had an extended look at Ember Moon's career in the WWE thus far and her story of getting to the NXT championship.
