Swerve tried to finish things off with the House Call, but Page caught him and hit the Dead Eye for a near fall. Page then pulled, of all things, a splinter from Swerve’s burnt house and tried to stab Swerve. Swerve locked in a Juji Gatame before he took the spike from Page and stabbed him right in Page’s dome in seeking revenge. Swerve then started crying for his actions, but Page told advantage and hit a low blow on Swerve before hitting a vicious, nasty, disgusting, repulsive, and (to put it bluntly) sickening Powerbomb on Swerve into a Cinder Block for a near fall.
Page continued to attack Page with jabs, but Swerve caught Page and hit a Powerbomb on Page into the cage before catching him with a House Call right into the cage. Swerve got back up in agony and hit another House Call kick to get the pin, but Page kicked out. Swerve climbed to the top rope, but then the madman looked at the cage. Swerve climbed to the top of the cage, but Page caught him before slamming Strickland with an Awesome Bomb on Swerve. Page then got Swerve and spiked him with a Deadeye to try and pick up the win, but Swerve kicked out at two by rolling his shoulder. Page officially lost it, with him asking Swerve to beg for mercy once and for all to end the match. Page continued to hit Swerve in the head with the edge of the chair, but Strickland was laughing before showing the number 2 with his fingers. Swerve briefly got on his feet, but then collapsed. Page then wrapped Swerve and said he would punish him now. Page then grabbed a Hyperdemic Needle and jabbed Strickland in the mouth before hitting a vicious chair shot on Swerve for the knockout win. Page teased coming back to the ring to get Swerve, but he stepped back instead. Page screeched at the top of his lungs because, after nearly a year, he finally had his revenge on the man who tormented his family.
Page stood tall to end the broadcast, but I leave this with a question to the reader/ viewer: Is victory worth the cost of your sanity and, most importantly, your humanity?
Professional wrestling is humanity’s greatest creation. Happy wrestling everyone!
Winner: “Hangman” Adam Page.
