Hector Lombard Faces CB Dollaway At UFC 222
A middleweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC 222 card as Hector Lombard will see action against CB Dollaway.
The Review Journal first announced the fight.
Lombard (34-8-1-2NC) enters the fight while riding a four bout losing streak and hasn’t earned a victory in over three years. Lombard suffered a TKO/KO loss in three of the four fights on the losing streak, which accounts for all the TKO/KO losses in his professional MMA career. Lombard is also a former Bellator MMA Middleweight Champion, but he gave up the belt when the jump to the UFC occurred.
Dollaway (16-8-0) has won just one of his last four in UFC competition and that lone win came over Ed Herman at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale. Dollaway also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 7, losing in the finals of the reality show to Amir Sadollah. Dollaway has suffered 8 losses as a professional MMA fighter, with two of those losses coming to former UFC Middleweight and UFC Light Heavyweight Champions.
UFC 222 takes place on Saturday, March 3 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
