Two More Contests Added To UFC 220, Including Top 15 Flyweights

A couple of more bouts have been added to the upcoming UFC 220 card as #9 Dustin Ortiz faces #12 Alexandre Pantoja at flyweight and Kyle Bochniak faces Brandon Davis at featherweight.

Boston Globe Sports reported both bouts first.

Ortiz (17-7-0) has won just two of his last five in the UFC, with those victories coming over Zach Makovsky and Hector Sandoval. Ortiz has suffered a total of five losses under the UFC banner, with three of those losses coming to fighters who have challenged for the UFC Flyweight Title.

Pantoja (18-2-0) is currently undefeated in UFC competition, defeating both Eric Shelton and Neil Seery. Pantoja hasn’t suffered a defeat in well over seven years, his last coming to fellow UFC fighter Jussier Formiga.

Bochniak (7-2-0) has won just one of three fights thus far in the UFC, beating Enrique Barzola at UFC On Fox 21. Bochniak is also a longtime veteran of the CES MMA promotion, winning all six fights here competed at there.

Davis (8-2-0) is making his UFC debut in this fight and he does so on the strength of a seven fight winning streak. Davis last competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 4, defeating Austin Arnett by decision.

UFC 220 takes place on Saturday, January 20 from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
