Kurt Angle To Wrestle Tonight In Birmingham, England

The Kurt Angle comeback tour continues.

Angle announced on Twitter earlier today that he would be wrestling tonight at a Raw live event in Manchester, England. He noted that it would be his first WWE house show event in eleven years:

It isn't currently known who Angle will be facing tonight.

After returning to WWE earlier this year as General Manager of Raw, Angle has mostly been in a non-wrestling role. That all changed, however, when Roman Reigns went down just hours before a big reunion between he and other members of the Shield was to take place at WWE TLC with a case of the mumps. Kurt Angle was announced as the replacement, defeating the likes of Braun Strowman, Kane, The Miz and The Bar at the event in a TLC match.

Since then, Angle has been used in a more active role. He's already been named team captain for the upcoming Raw vs. Smackdown elimination match at Survivor Series.

His last house show/live event event for WWE was back on August 14, 2006 where he defeated Danny Doring at an ECW event in Salisbury, Maryland.
