ROH Announces 2018 Dates, Female Tournament Returning To Company

Ring of Honor issued Fightful.com the following, announcing 2018 dates:

On-Sale Dates Announced For Big ROH Shows In Tennessee, North Carolina, Atlanta

Professional wrestling has a rich history in the South, and Ring of Honor will continue that tradition when the Best Wrestling on the Planet comes to Tennessee, North Carolina and Atlanta for live events in January and February 2018.

ROH will be in Nashville, Tenn., at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium on Saturday, Jan. 27 for an international TV taping; Concord, N.C., at Cabarrus Arena on Friday, Feb. 9 for an international TV taping; and Atlanta, Ga., at Center Stage on Saturday, Feb. 10 for a live event.

Tickets for each show will be available for RINGSIDE MEMBERS on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. Eastern. Tickets go on sale to the GENERAL PUBLIC on Friday, Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. Eastern.

The action has been hotter than ever in ROH, which is coming off the highly successful Global Wars Tour that produced four sold-out shows on four consecutive nights in four different cities.

Every ROH live event is a unique experience and anything can happen on any given show. Reigning ROH World Champion Cody of Bullet Club has even made impromptu title defenses at recent events, so you never know when you’ll witness history at an ROH show.

Bullet Club—whose members include ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks and Adam Page along with “The Villain” Marty Scurll—are arguably the most controversial and talked-about competitors in pro wrestling, and have even transcended the genre into the realm of pop culture. Bullet Club makes headlines wherever they appear, and they no doubt will be looking to cause a “spot of bother” in Nashville, Concord and Atlanta.

Other world-renowned stars who make the ROH roster second to none include former ROH World Champions Jay Lethal and Jay Briscoe, ROH World Television Champion Kenny King, ROH World Tag Team Champions The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian), “Pro Wrestling’s Last Real Man” Silas Young, The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan) and the demonic Punishment Martinez, among others.

In addition, Women of Honor continues to feature the most competitive and athletic women’s division in the sport.

There’s truly nothing like seeing the hard-hitting, in-your-face action that only ROH can provide LIVE. Don’t miss your chance to be there!

The company also announced that Rain will return after a three year absence.

After seven years of competing against the top female wrestlers around the world, and nearly three years of retirement, Rain makes her return to the ring in Florida at ROH Elite and Sunshine State Excellence! One of the stars that laid the groundwork for Women of Honor returns to ROH to make her official debut in Women of Honor. Rain will compete on both Saturday, November 11 in Ft. Lauderdale and Sunday, November 12 in Lakeland!

Many fans will remember when Rain teamed with Lacey to form the Minnesota Homewrecking Crew and picked up victories against other ROH women’s pioneers like Daizee Haze, Allison Danger, Sara Del Rey, and MsChif in tag team action! In her time away from ROH, Rain became the first-ever Shine Champion, defeating Mia Yim in the finals of a tournament to crown the inaugural champion, and picked up a successful defense against Amazing Kong. Rain announced her retirement from wrestling following a loss to Ivelisse Vélez in 2014.

But fans in Florida will see Rain return to the ring! Keep it locked in to ROHWrestling.com to see who Rain will face when Women of Honor returns to Florida!
