WWE Survivor Series To Have Raw vs. Smackdown Theme, Will Go Four Hours
Survivor Series will be the place for both Raw and Smackdown superstars to seek bragging rights.
The first promo for the show was shown tonight at WWE TLC. Featuring both Raw and Smackdown talent, the commercial made it clear that Raw superstars and Smackdown superstars would be competing against one another:
The show will also start at 7 p.m. EST/ 4 p.m. PST, meaning that the show is likely to go four hours long, much like Royal Rumble and SummerSlam.
One match that seems destined for the show will be a match between Raw Universal champion Brock Lesnar and Smackdown WWE champion Jinder Mahal in a non-title match. The latter called out the former last week on Smackdown, and Lesnar is expected to give a response tomorrow on Raw.
A Survivor Series match between the two brands might also be a possibility as well. A mens and women's Survivor Series match between the two brands both went down last year.
NXT War Games will also take place Survivor Series weekend. That will feature the return of the War Games structure, two rings with a domed cage. The last War Games match with the same concept was all the way back in 1998.
