Vincente Luque Steps In At UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo
Luan Chagas recently pulled out of his fight with Niko Price at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo and now Vincente Luque has agreed to step in on short notice to face Price.
Combate first reported the substitution.
Price (11-0-0) has already earned three wins under the UFC banner, those three wins came over Brandon Thatch, Alex Moreno and Alan Jouban. Luque (11-6-1) has won four of his last five in the UFC, with wins over over Hayder Hassan, Alvaro Herrera, Hector Urbina and Belal Muhammad. Luque has suffered two defeats under the UFC banner and both of those losses came by way of decision. Luque is competing in Brazil for the first time since UFC Fight Night 95, where he defeated Hector Urbina by first round knockout.
