Lightweight Title Bout Headlining LFA 27
The Legacy Fighting Alliance Lightweight Title is going to be defended in the main event of LFA 27 as champion Robert Watley defends against Daryl Wilson.
Watley (8-1-0) is going to be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Thiago Moises by unanimous decision at LFA 17. Watley is entering the fight on the strength of an eight fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in over three years. Watley also competed five times in the Shogun Fights promotion, winning four of those five fights there.
Wilson (5-1-0) is currently undefeated under the LFA banner, having defeated Jarrod Card by first round knockout at LFA 18 this past August. Wilson has only seen just two of his six professional MMA fights go the distance and he holds a record of 1-1-0 in those two fights. Wilson also competed twice in the Legacy Fighting Championships, defeating Joe Blurton and suffering a defeat to Derrick Adkins.
Legacy Fighting Alliance 27 takes place on Friday, November 10 from the Firelake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Robert Watley and Daryl Wilson headlining. Fightful will provide quick results of the event when it concludes, it also airs live on AXS TV.
