Myles Jury Faces Rick Glenn At UFC 219

A featherweight division attraction is being added to the UFC 219 card as #14 Myles Jury sees action against Rick Glenn.

The Las Vegas Review Journal first announced the bout.

Jury (16-2-0) has won just one of his two featherweight fights in the UFC, with that lone win in the division coming over Mike De La Torre at UFC 210. Jury has previously competed as a lightweight in the UFC, earning a record of 6-1-0 during his time in the division. Jury also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Al Iaquinta.

Glenn (20-4-1) is going to be entering the fight on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating both Philippe Nover and Gavin Tucker. Glenn is a former World Series Of Fighting Featherweight Champion, defeating Georgi Karakhanyan to win the gold at the WSOF 10. Glenn had also previously challenged for the Midwest Cage Championships Featherweight Title, fighting Ryan Roberts to a draw at MCC 35 in 2011.

UFC 219 takes place on Saturday, December 30 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
