Daryl The Cat Costs Bullet Club A Victory

Days after Daryl the Cat got hitched to Carol, he came back to work and gave his fellow Los Ingobernables de Japon members a win at NJPW's King of Pro Wrestling show.

The inanimate stuffed cat, who has captured the hearts of wrestling fans all over the globe, and who serves as the mascot for New Japan's Los Ingobernables de Japon stable and is Hiromu Takahashi's best friend, caused a distraction to the Bullet Club during a six-man tag match, leading to a victory for Los Ingorbenables de Japon. Below is the match's finish from Fightful's live coverage of the event.

Tonga recovers and he drops Bushi with a boot to the face, Fale tags in and he double teams Bushi with Tonga for a near fall. Fale goes for the Bad Luck Fale and Hiromu distracts him with Daryl, Bushi sprays mist into the eyes of Fale and he rolls him up for the three count.

Winners: Los Ingobernables (Sanada, Bushi & Hiromu Takahashi)

If anything, it was sweet revenge for the stuffed animal, who got decimated at the hands of Bad Luck Fale during the G1 Climax, causing mass frenzy and sadness on social media when it happened. Daryl has since recovered and is back to helping out Los Ingobernables de Japon.

There may not have been any LIJ members wrestling for a title at the event, but at least the stable can say they went unbeaten in the show that saw two titles change hands.
