Report: Drakkar Klose Faces David Teymur At UFC 218
A lightweight division attraction is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC 218 card as Drakker Klose is going to be in action against David Teymur.
The Detroit Free Press first reported the fight.
Klose (8-0-1) has already competed twice under the UFC banner, defeating the duo of Devin Powell and Marc Diakiese. Klose has also competed once in the Resurrection Fighting Alliance, defeating Hugh Pulley by unanimous decision at RFA 44. Klose has seen his last three professional MMA fights go the distance and it has been over two years since one of his fights ended with a finish.
Teymur (6-1-0) is currently undefeated in UFC competition, with his last win in the promotion coming over Lando Vannata at UFC 209. Teymur has only suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Mattias Rosenlind at International Ring Fight Arena 5 in 2013. Teymur also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 22, making it to the quarterfinals before suffering a defeat to Marcin Wrzosek.
UFc 218 takes place on Saturday, December 2 from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
