Three More Fights Set For Bellator 184

A trio of bouts have been added to Bellator 184 as Pat Curran faces John Teixeira, Gaston Reyno faces Westin Wilson and Justin Patterson faces Chance Rencountre.

Curran (22-7-0) will enter the fight on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Emmanuel Sanchez and Georgi Karakhanyan. Curran is a former two time Bellator MMA Featherweight Champion, defeating Joe Warren and Daniel Straus to start his reigns.

Teixeira (21-2-2) has won four of five fights under the Bellator MMA banner, which includes a win over UFC veteran Justin Lawrence. Teixeira has seen his last six MMA bouts go the distance and it has been over three years since the fighter got a finish.

Reyno (6-2-0-2NC) has won two of four fights in Bellator MMA competition, with those wins coming over both Greg Scott and LJ Hermreck. Reyno also fought once in the Titan Fighting Championship, fighting David Nelson to a no contest after an illegal knee strike at Titan FC 28.

Wilson (4-2-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and he has won just one of his last three fights. Wilson has only seen one of his six professional MMA fights go the distance and that was a losing effort to Lynn Schulz at Steel Fist Fight Night 37.

Patterson (9-3-0) has won three of five in Bellator MMA competition, but his last bout was a loss to Jaoquin Buckley at Bellator 175. Patterson has seen his last five fights go to the third round, the fighter has a 3-2-0 record in those five fights.

Rencountre (10-2-0) is looking to avenge a loss to Patterson, which took place over a year ago at Bellator 151. Rencountre has already earned a single win under the Bellator MMA banner, defeating Jake Lindsey by split decision at Bellator 171.

Bellator 184 takes place on Friday, October 6 from the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Eduardo Dantas and Darrion Caldwell headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Spike TV.
