WWE Raw Women’s Champion Set For Action Next Week

Longtime best friends, Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax will do battle on next week's 9/18 episode of Raw, heading into WWE No Mercy

On this week's Raw, neither Alexa Bliss or Nia Jax were in action, rather providing commentary for the Sasha Banks vs. Alexa Bliss matchup. However, backstage Alexa Bliss declared her desire to have a one-on-one match with Jax. After seeing a vignette for the impending Raw debut of Asuka, Nia Jax informed the WWE Raw Women's champion she'd be getting one next week.

Nia Jax is shown in the locker room when WWE Raw Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss walks in, Alexa complains about the recent happenings in the women’s division. Jax says they aren’t best friends no more and Bliss apologizes for slapping her last week, Jax says she spoke to Raw GM Kurt Angle and she faces Bliss next week on WWE Raw.

Alexa has squared off with Nia Jax before, beating her by DQ in June. The two have had no other one-on-onw matches.

Fightful.com has a loaded weekend ahead, as No Mercy, UFC Fight Night Japan and Ring of Honor's Death Before Dishonor will all see live coverage between September 22 and 24.
