Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin PPV Undercard Announced
The September 16 pay-per-view card for the Canelo Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin fight has been announced, with a regional title and a title eliminator featured on the card.
While the full card has yet to be announced, the pay-per-view card sees Joseph Diaz Jr. and Jorge Lara compete in the co-main event for a chance to challenge Gary Russell Jr. for his WBC featherweight title.
Golden Boy Promotions CEO Oscar De La Hoya‘s cousin Diego De La Hoya will also be on the card, fighting for the NABF super bantamweight title. Diego is the current WBC Youth World super bantamweight champion, is undefeated in his pro career and has won all three fights in 2017.
The pay-per-view opens up with a fight between rising junior welterweight contenders Ryan Martin and Francisco Rojo.
