Ronda Rousey, Travis Browne To Wed Saturday
Ronda Rousey has been largely unseen within the MMA spectrum since her UFC 207 loss last December. It would appear that defeat is far from slowing her life down, however.
When speaking with reporters this week, UFC President Dana White mentioned that Rousey is happy, not retired — and getting married this weekend to fellow UFC fighter Travis Browne.
"She’s in a good place, she’s really happy, and she hasn’t announced her retirement or anything like that. She’s focusing on this wedding," Dana White said, before revealing it happens the same day as Mayweather vs. McGregor. "Of all the days, she’s like, ‘I’m getting married,’"
Fightful.com exclusively revealed that the former UFC Bantamweight Champion Rousey had been training with WWE Superstar Brian Kendrick of late in pro wrestling. Her soon-to-be husband Browne has faced his own struggles of late, losing four straight UFC fights, most recently last month at UFC 213.
Due to the scheduling conflict, White won't be able to attend Rousey's impending wedding.
