UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are going to be battling it out in just a few short days.
However, if fans weren’t the wiser, one could assume that McGregor is going to be making his pro boxing debut against the retired Paulie Malignaggi.
Malignaggi and McGregor have been going at it ever since the McGregor camp released a photo of what appeared to be the UFC fighter dropping the retired boxer during a sparring session.
During a press event earlier this week, a confrontation took place between the MMA star and the boxing star.

“Did you bring your balls, Conor?” says Malignaggi.
McGregor, who has claimed all along that he dropped Malignaggi, just wants the retired boxer to get over the whole thing.
“Get over it. You got your ass whipped,” McGregor said.
Besides the McGregor camp releasing the photo, the UFC President in Dana White also released two short video clips of the sparring session.
Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
