Cody Rhodes Doesn’t Think He Was Supposed To Be In The Ring For Tribute Video On 4/8 WWE Raw
Cody Rhodes reflects on video tribute that aired following WrestleMania XL.
One night after Cody Rhodes finished his story and won the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania XL, he stood in the middle of the ring on WWE Raw with Triple H. Triple H brought out a television and aired a special video package that was put together for Cody.
Appearing on Cheap Heat with Peter Rosenberg, Cody commented on the video.
“I don’t think I was supposed to be in the ring to see the video they made. I think what happened was, everyone saw it and thought, ‘we might as well capture him seeing it for the first time.’ It wasn’t the plan, but what a great problem to have, ‘the house is so big, we can’t do a tron, so we’re going to put this substitute teacher style TV in the aisle,’ and there I am watching it,” said Cody.
Fans can watch the video that aired during Raw in the video above.
Elsewhere during the interview, Cody discussed his long-term goal in WWE. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
