On the April 24 episode of AEW Dynamite, Jack Perry and The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) attacked AEW CEO Tony Khan. AEW later announced that Khan was not cleared to travel, so he would be running AEW remotely.

Speaking on his My World podcast with co-host Conrad Thompson, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett briefly commented on The Elite attacking Tony Khan. He wondered whether Thompson would want to see him hit Khan with a guitar.

“Would you love to see The Last Outlaw wrap a guitar around Tony Khan’s head? [Laughs],” Khan said.

Thompson replied by saying that the people who hate AEW would love Jarrett for doing that, and vice versa. Jarrett agreed, and after noting that Conrad had put together many deals, this would be a win, win, win, for everyone involved, especially the fans.

“With all being said, the definition of a good deal in the professional wrestling industry is a win, win, win. There’s three components. You gotta have the protagonist’s side and the antagonist’s side, or the heel and the babyface. You gotta have talent, you gotta mix it all together, but the biggest one of all has to be the fans. You just described, for those who hate Tony, it’s a win. For those who love Tony, it’s a big-ass win for ‘The Last Outlaw.’ Book it, Connie. [Laughs],” Jarrett said.
