TUF Champion Added To UFC Fight Night Norfolk

A welterweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night Norfolk as Court McGee steps into the Octagon against Sean Strickland.

McGee (18-6-0) has rotated wins and losses in his last six UFC appearances, with his last bout being a loss to Ben Saunders at UFC Fight Night 103. McGee was the winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 11, defeating Kris McCray in the finals of the reality show. McGee has previously competed as a middleweight in the UFC, which includes a win over UFC Interim Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker.

Strickland (18-2-0) has won three of his last four under the UFC banner, with those three wins coming over Igor Araujo, Alex Garcia and Tom Breese. Strickland is also a former King Of The Cage Welterweight Champion, defeating Yusuke Sakashita in 2013 to win the gold. Strickland has only fought in three promotions during his professional MMA career, those promotions are the UFC, King Of The Cage and Long Beach Fight Night.

UFC Fight Night Norfolk takes place on Saturday, November 11 from the Ted Constant Convocation Center in Norfolk, Virginia with Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
