Big E Gives Update On Neck After Two Year Scans, Is Still Not Medically Cleared
On the March 11, 2022 episode of WWE SmackDown, Big E suffered a neck injury when he landed on his head following a belly-to-belly suplex from Ridge Holland. Big E fractured his C1 vertebrae and C6 vertebrae but didn’t suffer any ligament or spinal cord damage.
On Saturday, Big E informed fans that he got his two-year scans and that he remains not medically cleared, and is unsure if he may ever be cleared.
However, Big E is able to live life without pain and remains in good spirits.
Hey, all!
Two year neck scans are in. Things are unchanged. My C1 has healed fibrously but has not formed new bone. I’m not medically cleared and truthfully, I may never be cleared. But I am blessed to be free of pain, immensely happy and otherwise healthy. Life is good.— Ettore “Big E” Ewen (@WWEBigE) April 13, 2024
Big E has stayed involved in WWE affairs, helping with tryouts and kickoff panels.
We wish Big E the best as he continues to do what is best for him.
