SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that two Triple Threat matches on the April 12 episode of WWE SmackDown will determine who will clash the following week, with the winner going on to face WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. In one match, Kevin Owens will face Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles. In the other, LA Knight will take on Bobby Lashley and Santos Escobar.
