Sabu Says He ‘Changed His Mind’ About Appearing At Indie Hall Of Fame, Brett Lauderdale Says ‘No Hard Feelings’
Sabu and Brett Lauderdale clear up Indie Hall of Fame no show.
On Sunday Sabu was set to be inducted into the Indie Hall of Fame class of 2024, and he was at the venue, but didn’t want to go upstairs according to GCW promoter Brett Lauderdale.
Lauderdale said that Sabu kept the deposit despite no showing, but closed his tweet by saying, “What a legend,” indicating he still respected Sabu.
Sabu and Lauderdale both took to social media on Wednesday to offer further comments.

Just for the record, I have no hard feelings towards Sabu and still have nothing but respect for him as a person and especially as a performer.
The sacrifices he made changed the game (pardon the pun) and many of my favorite memories as a fan are centered around his work. https://t.co/qBjE40bvRA
