The Rock has wrapped up his current run with WWE; he returned in February and was featured on the road to WrestleMania XL as he turned heel and aligned with Roman Reigns. The Rock and Reigns feuded with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins and beat the duo at WrestleMania XL Night One. The Rock also appeared the next night, where Rhodes beat Reigns to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

On the April 8 episode of WWE Raw, The Rock said that he had to go away for a bit, but he’d be coming back for Rhodes.

Former WWE writer Brian Gewirtz, who works closely with The Rock, then took to Twitter/X and shared a picture of The Final Boss from Raw After WrestleMania. He told fans not to be sad that the ride was over. Gewirtz encouraged them to be happy that one day, sooner or later, they would have a lot more to cry about.

It is not known when The Rock will return to WWE programming.

The Rock has said that there might be more big matches for him. Check out his comments here.
